Dr. Faulds is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of British Columbia with special interests in complex thoracic and abdominal aortic surgery, thoracic outlet syndrome and minimally invasive vein treatment.

During his surgical training, Dr. Faulds completed a Master’s of Health Science degree in clinical epidemiology and remains active in clinical outcomes research and is a member of The Western Vascular Society and Pacific Northwest Vascular Society. Dr. Faulds is a frequent contributor to national and international research meetings and has published numerous articles in well respected surgical journals. Dr. Faulds is double board certified in general and vascular surgery. Dr. Faulds completed additional advanced training in complex aortic surgery at Stanford University and at the University of Texas, Houston and works as part of multidisciplinary thoracic aortic surgery program at VGH.

Dr. Faulds is the father of four young children who enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with their dog Hercules.
