Dr. Harris joined the Division of Vascular Surgery at Kelowna General Hospital in 2013 after relocating from London, Ontario. He completed his medical school education followed by General Surgery residency at Western in 2007. He then finished his Vascular Surgery fellowship at Western and Arizona Heart Institute in 2009. He has always had a keen interest in medical student and resident education and served as the Residency Program Director at Western prior to moving to British Columbia.

Over the past 10 years, Dr. Harris has been actively involved at Kelowna General Hospital both clinically and administratively. He has been the President of the Medical Staff Association and subsequently the KGH Chief of Staff. He is currently the Division Head of Vascular Surgery and feels very fortunate to work alongside his remarkable colleagues (and more importantly close friends).

Outside of work, he is blessed to spend time with his wife Teresa and four amazing children (Owen, Jacob, Eli, and Francesca). He is an avid golfer and loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan who continues to pursue the ever elusive goals of a hole-in-one and a Leafs Stanley Cup.
