Dr. Misskey is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of British Columbia and a vascular surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital. Dr. Misskey’s clinical practice involves all aspects of vascular surgery including the open and endovascular management of aortic aneursymal disease, carotid artery pathology and lower extremity peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Misskey also has an active clinical practice involving the management of all forms of venous pathology including open and endovenous treatment of all forms of chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins.

Dr. Misskey completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 2012 and completed his vascular surgery training in 2019 at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Misskey completed a Masters of Health Professions Education at Maastricht University and a Clinical Educator Fellowship at the Centre for Health Education Scholarship (CHES) at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Misskey has a passion for undergraduate and resident education and is currently the postgraduate program director of the UBC Division of Vascular Surgery as well as the program director for Surgical Foundations. When not working Dr. Misskey enjoys spending time with his twin daughters.
